At what age can I get tattooed?

At California Ink, we follow statutory law requiring a person receiving a tattoo be at least 18 years old.

Do we accept walk-ins?

At California Ink, we accept both walk ins and bookings.

To guarantee a master artist in the style you’re wanting we highly suggest booking in advance with a small deposit to secure your exact date, time and Master artist

Which payment methods can I use?

At the studio, you can pay easily using any method that’s convenient for you. We accept bank cards, cash, Apple Pay, Alipay, PayPal, Wise, Revolut, Thai bank transfers and USA bank transfers. Just let us know which payment method works best for you!

How much will my tattoo cost?

Due to the large variety of tattoo styles that we offer, we don’t charge per hour. Instead we charge a ‘per job’ fee, depending on the size, style & complexity of the piece. So, if you’re interested in exploring our services further then contact us, let us know what you’re after and we’ll give you a free quote.

Can I use numbing cream?

At California Ink, we recommend trying to complete the tattoo without numbing cream as it can affect the healing quality of the tattoo. Rest assured, if you are finding yourself struggling with the pain, we have options for you.

Is it safe to get tattooed in Thailand?

California Ink sets the highest standards for tattooing in Thailand, with state of the art studios, artists trained and competent in blood borne pathogens. Cleaners sterilize the studios non-stop with medical grade alcohol and all single use equipment. Rest assured, you are in the best hands possible for a problem free tattoo journey.

What tattoo ink do you use?

California Ink studios import the top ink brands directly from the USA and are vegan friendly products.

Can I get tattooed while pregnant?

At California Ink, we feel it is safer to postpone a tattoo until after giving birth so as to not put any unwanted stress on you or your unborn baby. We will be here when you’re ready!

Is my deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your appointment time and artist.
If you’re unable to attend, your deposit can be transferred to friends or family, or kept for a future appointment at our Bangkok or Phuket studio.

There is no expiration, and it will remain on file until you’re ready to book again!

How do I prepare for my tattoo session?

At California Ink, we suggest you have a good night’s rest, no drugs or alcohol for 24hrs prior to getting tattooed. A healthy light meal beforehand will help with your energy levels while getting tattooed. We have a stocked fridge of free refreshments and snacks but feel free to bring your own.
