I had a great experience at California Ink Bangkok. The whole process was very smooth and professional, and I’m really happy with how my tattoo turned out. My tattoo artist, EST, was very talented and patient, and paid great attention to every detail. The final result looks even better than I expected. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Two sleeves. Three days. One hell of an experience. I came from Texas, but a job opportunity brought me to this side of the world and the second I realized Thailand was within reach, I knew exactly what I was doing. I was getting on a plane to Bangkok and finally getting the sleeves I had been carrying around in my head for years. And I’m so damn glad I did. Ben and Miki at California Ink took my vision and made it real. These weren’t tattoos I picked off a wall. Everything I wanted incorporated had a reason, a story, or a meaning behind it. Every symbol and detail was intentional. They listened to me, understood the vision, and somehow turned all those separate pieces into two sleeves that feel completely like me. And they pulled it off in THREE DAYS. Two full sleeves. I’ll admit I had my doubts but they did it. These artists are professionals and serious perfectionists. There were moments they noticed tiny details I probably would have never caught, but they knew it wasn’t perfect yet. That told me everything I needed to know about the pride they take in their work. The entire shop was impressive. Shoes off before entering, extremely clean and sanitary, and the whole staff was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. You feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. My only issues was how difficult those chups lollipops are to open lol but that’s always been a thing anywhere. I’ve spent a lot of my life saying, “One day I’m going to do that.” Lately, I’ve decided I’m done waiting for one day. I’ve put off getting my sleeves done for a while. So I flew to Thailand, sat through three crazy days of tattooing, checked something huge off my bucket list, and walked out carrying pieces of my story on both arms. No regrets. Not one. Thank you Ben, Miki, and the entire California Ink family. I even purchased one of their awesome looking hoodies. You didn’t just tattoo me, you helped me turn a vision I’d carried for years into something permanent. Sometimes you just have to book the flight and do the damn thing.

Super clean. Very nice. Great artists. I did a simple design with Thai script for English words. They ensured the script read as I wanted rather than some random letters a dummy like me would have picked. I was very appreciative of that level of detail. Great work for intricate lettering.

Writing While passing through Bangkok, I got a tattoo done at California Ink, and it was an experience I highly recommend! The team was very attentive, available, and incredibly responsive to my requests. I chose to get a Sak Yant tattoo, in the traditional style, using bamboo, with respect for its sacred nature and the traditions surrounding it. I especially want to thank the tattoo artist for his great sensitivity, professionalism, and respect for this traditional practice. A truly beautiful experience, both personally and spiritually. I highly recommend this studio! 🙏✨

Highly recommend this studio for specialized work! The front desk carefully paired me with Joe, a Thai lettering expert, who did a fantastic job positioning my tattoo perfectly around the moles on my right arm. He really listened and took time to accommodate my request. The team was thorough, double-checking everything before starting. They wrap the seats with plastics which is hygienic. The only downside was that the needle wasn't opened in front of me, which left me feeling a bit worried. Overall the service and artistry was great and evident on the photos below! Price is reasonable.

Flew in from Canada to Bangkok to get some ink done. To start the studio was spotless. They had workers cleaning/wiping at all times. Numerous artists that do great work. I did a coverup of an old tattoo and my artist name was WUT. Highly recommend him as he did an incredible job and left me super happy with the work he did. I can’t see the old tattoos at all. I was left very impressed and the pricing was the best in Bangkok compared to others I reached out to before going. Highly recommend going to this place for any tattoo work. Front desk was very helpful and understanding. Thank you all for making my experience great. I will definitely be back to do more work. Thank you 🙏🏽

I had my very first tattoo done at California Ink Tattoo Bangkok by Kong, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was really nervous walking in, but the staff were so welcoming, helpful, and reassuring from the moment I arrived. From the design process right through to the finished tattoo, everything was handled professionally and with so much care and attention to detail. Kong really listened to my vision and made sure I was 100% happy every step of the way. Nothing felt rushed, and they genuinely wanted the tattoo to be perfect for me. The atmosphere in the studio was amazing — clean, comfortable, friendly, and professional. You can tell the team truly cares about their clients and their work. I’m absolutely in love with my tattoo, and for a first tattoo experience, they made it unforgettable. I would highly recommend California Ink Bangkok and especially Kong to anyone thinking about getting tattooed in Bangkok. California Ink were absolotaly amazing! They were very quick to reply. I ended up starting my tattoo within a few hours of first reaching out. Originally I planned to get a half sleeve done, but ended up changing my mind. They spent time drawing up the design and making sure I was happy with it and that it fit well with my existing tattoo. Kong was my tattooist, he was amazing from start to finish. I requested a couple of minor changes to the design. which he did. His work is phenomenal. So quick and tidy, so much detail in the outlining and shading. The admin guys at the front are also fun, very easy to chat and joke with. The sudio is very clean and tidy. I highly recommend this studio for anyone craving a tattoo while in Bangkok. I will definitely be back!

Walked into California Ink Tattoo Bangkok around 1pm with a reference design in mind. The staff was friendly, gave me a quotation straight away, and managed to schedule me at 3pm on the same day which was honestly super convenient. My artist was Gob, and he absolutely nailed it. The detailing, shading, and overall workmanship turned out way better than I expected. The tattoo came out clean, sharp, and very well balanced. Really happy with the final result and the whole experience overall. Definitely recommend California Ink Tattoo Bangkok if you’re looking for quality work and a smooth experience.

I had an amazing experience at California Ink in Bangkok. Kwang was my artist, and he was absolutely incredible. He worked closely with me to design a custom piece, really taking the time to understand what I wanted and bring it to life. The tattoo took 2 days, about 11 hours total, and his attention to detail never dropped once. The shop itself is super clean, professional, and has a really good vibe—very comfortable from the moment you walk in. Before starting, they carefully go over placement and design with you to make sure you’re 100% happy, which I really appreciated. It made me feel confident that everything was going to come out exactly how I wanted. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the result. If you’re thinking about getting a tattoo in Bangkok, I highly recommend California Ink—and definitely ask for Kwang.
